Jake baumgartner
Meet Jake, aka Coach Bummy!
Hometown & Playing Career: From Toledo, Ohio. Played baseball at Bluffton University for 6 years and football for 3 years. Positions included catcher and second baseman in baseball, and kicker/punter in football.
Inspiration to Get Involved in Baseball & Youth Development: Inspired by my grandfather, who coached for 35+ years, and my high school coach, Coach Livingston. Seeing the positive impact they made on players both on and off the field motivated me to do the same for the next generation.
What Players & Families Can Expect: Players will develop their skills, build a true love for the game, and learn to play it the right way — all while training in a top-notch facility.

Sport Highlights
- Baseball & Softball training now available in the brand new HitTrax Simulator.
- All training sessions and events are held in our temperature-controlled South Fieldhouse which features a full-size artificial turf, two batting cages and two pitching machines.
- Private rentals are available for Open Play and team practices.
- Camps and clinics are offered by local talent from Mercer County and surrounding areas.
